supplement the musings of Lao Tzu with with the humor of Mr.
O'Grady. See his creation, Mikka Bouzu, below.

News and Notes |

It's said that people come in two varieties, givers and
takers. It's been my experience that martial artists fall
mostly in the givers category. I find this view repeatedly
reinforced. Most recently, Jonathan Forrester Sensei of
the Dawsonville
Martial Arts Center has stepped forth unbidden to share
his expertise in the Japanese language to help ensure the
accuracy of our terminology
pages. At left are some of the fruits of his knowledge.
Thank you Sensei! Also, thanks to Jake Frankart of our
dojo for adding several new Nage Waza terms.
On another topic, the Google
Gadget, reported in the last newsletter, shows even
more promise than originally predicted. It's a great way to
share information in more bite size chunks. We're up to almost
50 pages that display on a randomly, rotating basis.
Lastly, the "Human Weapon" program continues to
provide the goods. Judo comes up this Friday. Check it out on
the History Channel. See the Gadget...
