Greetings,

Ok, this is just too cool! A good friend of mine let me know about Google Gadgets. You can set these up on your Google home page to get updates and information from your favorite sources.

They're pretty easy to set up, and we now have one. If you like the Gadget below, just click on the Google logo to add it to your home page. Gotta love technology!

    Pyramid of Threats

    Channel - The History Channel
    I can only hope the remainder of the series is as good as the Muay Thai premiere. Whereas "Deadly Arts" was more of a spiritual and intellectual journey, this show has elements of that while immersing the viewer in the art to a much greater extent. It also does an excellent job of exploring the history and techniques of the art. Furthermore, Human Weapon adds elements of "Fight Science" but tests the theories in the ring instead of with scientific measurements. In essence, it's entertaining, exciting, and educational. Human Weapon is everything I ever wanted in a martial arts show, and must be given five kiai.

    TAO TEH CHING, Chapter 69
    Bridge

    The strategists have a saying:
    I dare not be a host, but rather a guest;
    I dare not advance an inch, but rather retreat a foot.

    This is called marching without moving,
    Rolling up one's sleeves without baring one's arms,
    Capturing the enemy without confronting him,
    Holding a weapon that is invisible.

    There is no greater calamity than to under-estimate the strength of your enemy.
    For to under-estimate the strength of your enemy is to lose your treasure.

    Therefore, when opposing troops meet in battle, victory belongs to the grieving side.

    I love reading the Tao Teh Ching, and I find many of the chapters profound. But I must admit, the one below left me scratching my head. If you think you've got this one figured out, please help me understand it on our forum. Thanks!
