Greetings!
I was looking for a good article to add to the web site, and
behold, I found two. Enjoy!
| Flexibility and Strength in Martial
Arts |
 |

Flexibility is the range of movement that you have in your
joints. Some say that this definition should only apply if
there is no exterior help to move the joint, but this is not
correct. If your joints have a greater degree of movement when
aided by an external force, then that degree of movement
defines the flexibility....

Once in a while, I get really bored with my workouts. You
know, after a while it gets to be the same old, same old
stuff. It is always weights or cardio machines or the same
stuff over and over again. I have worked out for years and
sometimes it is nice to have something different to sink your
teeth into when you go to the gym. Or it is also nice to have
something fun and invigorating to do at home. Something that
gets you started off on the right foot in the morning....

| TAO TEH CHING, Chapter 4 |
 |
|
The Tao is like an empty bowl, Which in being used can
never be filled up. Fathomless, it seems to be the origin
of all things. It blunts all sharp edges, It unties all
tangles, It harmonizes all lights, It unites the world
into one whole. Hidden in the deeps, Yet it seems to
exist for ever. I do not know whose child it is; It
seems to be the common ancestor of all, the father of things.

Ah, so many additions, so little time: There is a whole
Qigong set added under Yoga/Qigong
courtesy of Tashi Price; Speaking of whom, two other videos
have been added to his
page; A new section titled Martial
Arts will explore various martial arts from around the
world, don't see yours, send me some info to get it started;
last, but not least, I've added an acknowledgments
page. This is long overdue, but my feeble attempt to thank
those innumerable folks that I owe thanks to. To see a complete listing of What's
New, go to our forum.... |
