Greetings!
After last week's announcement, this newsletter might seem like a
dissapointment, not so fast. Lots of new content, and more good
news:
| Book Review (The Fundamentals of Pa Kua
Chang) |
 |
|
by Park Bok Nam & Dan Miller
This and Volume II
are outstanding step by step guides for those interested in
the internal Chinese art of Pa Kua Chang (Ba Gua Chang). If
you don't have an instructor in your area, this is a good way
to work on some of the basics. There are companion videos as
well, but they are difficult to find. It probably helps to
have a martial arts background before trying to learn through
these books. I give this book five kiai.

| TAO TEH CHING, Chapter 11 |

Thirty spokes converge upon a single hub; It is on the
hole in the center that the use of the cart hinges.
We make a vessel from a lump of clay; It is the empty
space within the vessel that makes it useful.
We make doors and windows for a room; But it is these
empty spaces that make the room livable.
Thus, while the tangible has advantages, It is the
intangible that makes it useful.

We've added an Anatomy/Qigong section to the Warrior Pages.
It's in its infancy, but should give an idea of the type of
content that will soon be added. Tashi Price makes many
references to pressure points in his videos, these pages
should help in understanding these references. As for anatomy,
every serious martial artist should be as familiar with human
anatomy as time will allow.
Speaking of Tashi Price, his generosity continues, and he
has offered to answer questions regarding his videos, seminars
and books on our forums. We have added a Forum called "Tashi's
Corner" for these questions. We have also added a new video to
his video page and this page has been moved into our regular
video section. Links in previous newsletters may no longer
work.
What should we add next? Help us decide. Voice your opinion
on our forum. Visit the forum....
